What are CyberFirst Ambassadors?

CyberFirst ambassadors are volunteers from across the tech and academic worlds who support our mission to grow cyber skills in Wales. Whether you have a few hours a year or can get stuck into a full calendar of activities, there’s a place for you in the CyberFirst community.

What does being an Ambassador involve?

Ambassadors give as much or as little time as they can – from just a couple of hours a year to regular involvement. You don’t need to work directly with students – being an ambassador also means being part of a passionate community. We hold four ambassador catch-ups per year (two in person), and ask ambassadors to attend at least one to stay active. Your support could include:

  • Delivering CyberFirst activities in schools

  • Supporting award assessments

  • Promoting CyberFirst through your networks

  • Attending events as role-models
